Here, the views are breathtaking, the staff is friendly, and of course, the beer will leave you craving for more. If you love traveling with your furry friends, don’t hesitate to bring them. There’s a striking dog-friendly patio that offers impressive views. If it’s too hot, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery as you sip a Rancho Deluxe Western American Lager. For those who prefer a heavier offering, the Mosaic DDAIPA Smash is a must-try. Other artfully-crafted beers you don’t want to miss are Lumpy Ridge Pale Ale, Thurman’s Stout, and Centennial Smash.
Rock Cut Brewing Company
Imagine enjoying a freshly made beer while hearing the river whisper, viewing the surrounding mountains, and gazing at elk. This craft brewery focuses on top-grade ingredients, a creative style, and original recipes. It also has a family-friendly environment, so you can bring your kids to relax on a weekend. Some beers you should try here are the Smoky Brunette, Galactic Portal, Interference IPA, and Quickdraw American Pale Ale. Outside food is allowed but a food truck is also available on-site to serve guests with delicious dinners and lunches.
Estes Park Brewery
Since 1993, this brewery has been serving tourists and locals tasty craft brews, way before such beers gained much popularity in Estes Park. This place isn’t all about the beers, foodies aren’t left out since hamburgers, pizza, chicken wings, and other types of delicacies are served. There’s enough entertainment for guests as video games and pool tables are available. For a more relaxing vibe, you can sip on the Estes Park Gold, Long’s Peak Raspberry Wheat, Renegade IPA, or the Trail Ridge Red (Redrum Ale).
Avant Garde Ale Works
The captivating artwork and calm atmosphere here will leave you in awe. Everything about this brewery is near-perfect, starting with its outstanding beers. They craft a wide variety of beer styles, and many of them can rarely be found at an average brewery. Regardless of the style of beer you choose, you can sip with confidence knowing that you’re getting a top-quality beverage. A patio is available, so you can relax there as you sample different beers from their menu. If you’re the fun-loving type, events are hosted here regularly.
The Wheel Bar
Located in the heart of Downtown Estes Park, this bar invites you to enjoy the local charm. Since 1945, it has been serving guests good times, so you can trust the bar in understanding what makes a good drink. You can enjoy your favorite beers indoors or on their patio. With the fun atmosphere, affordable drinks, and friendly staff, you’ll want to come back for more. It’s never a dull day here since the bar offers two pool tables, a dark board, a shuffleboard, and Arcade games to keep you entertained. If you’d like to hold an event, there are two spaces for that. There’s the Barrel for semi-private parties and another private room upstairs for rehearsals, receptions, and private events.
Bird and Jim Restaurant
Are you planning a night out with friends or a date night? This bar is an incredible place to grab drinks and dinner. It’s a farm-to-table restaurant that features New American dishes and other delicious meals. Based on the season, the menu changes but you’ll typically not miss hand-made pasta, burgers, salads, soups, and different types of grilled meats. Don’t forget to pair a classic cocktail with dinner. They work with small wineries in the area, so be sure to sample local wines or beers.
Elevations Eatery and Bar
This bar was founded by Bishwa Lama, a seasoned local restaurateur, who is experienced in running other restaurants in the Estes valley. The staff creates interesting recipes to provide guests with an assortment of posh gastro inspirations such as orange and beetroot salad, elk stew, elk and bison burgers, beef short ribs, and sandwiches with a unique twist. The bar offers locally-crafted beers and amazing cocktails. This bar is open seven days a week all year round, so you can visit any day to experience what Estes Park has to offer.
