Our Story

Let’s face it… There is nothing fun about arriving to a vacation rental to discover that there are five bath towels to accommodate your group of eight, or the used men’s Suave soap that is also supposed to double as your shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, this was our experience at the vacation home we rented for a family graduation trip in Boulder, and we know we can’t be the first to encounter a similar situation during a vacation rental stay.

For us, the unpredictability of whether the home really looked like the pictures online (they usually didn’t) or if we would be able to speak to an actual human in the event our door entry code didn’t work only detracted from why most book a vacation home, for unique experience, at least it did for us. With long standing family roots in the hotel development and management and years of experience in hotel industry ourselves, we saw a niche, providing guests with the predictability of hotel amenities, enhancing the unique experience craved.

As homeowners we saw a common predicament ourselves and other alike were facing: wanting to generate cash flow from their home but not wanting to detract from its original purpose, which was enjoying their home, a home that still looks and feels like theirs. Achieving this, all while not having to deal with the hassles of a traditional management company such as the “ever-changing expense sheet” due to bill backs from everything to preventative maintenance such air filters to missing toasters. Being nickel and dimed by home management services was something most were either experiencing firsthand or had heard horror stories about. At Voyago our homeowners come first, and that means quality home care with attention to detail, right down to the very last fork.

Long story short, we created Voyago with one simple goal in mind, piece of mind. For our guest this means quality homes with guest amenities they can count on, so they can enjoy the Voyage and make memories to last a lifetime.
